Biometric
Disclaimer:
Biometric scanning is successful for almost
everyone, but not for 100% of the population. Some
of the obvious exceptions for Electronic Fingerprint
scanning acceptability include those with fingertips
missing or disfigured, those with skin grafts to
their fingertips, and those that constantly damage
or erode their fingerprints (eg: Bricklayers). In
other cases, acceptance rates may be variable based
on individual Fingerprint condition, such as
excessively dry or cracked skin.
Some of Covetek’s products can be adjusted to better
suit the Fingerprint conditions of certain
individuals, but overall, Covetek Australasia does
not guarantee the acceptability of its Electronic
Fingerprint scanning technology for everyone. For
this reason, all of Covetek’s Fingerprint products
include one or more other means of access/entry (eg:
PIN code, RFID or Mifare cards, master keys) so that
the products can still be used by that minority
who’s Fingerprints are not compatible
If in doubt, it is recommended that prospective
purchasers of Biometric products should arrange to
test their compatibility for that technology before
making a purchase. Please contact us if you wish to
arrange a test of your Fingerprint compatibility for
our Fingerprint products.
Installations and Installers:
Installation is solely the responsibility of the
purchaser.
Installation instructions are supplied with each
product sold by
Kon-Sol-Te.
It is critical to observe all of these instructions
and correctly install each product. Failure to
correctly install any product could affect its
performance and also void its Warranty. A suitably
qualified and experienced Installer is recommended.
Kon-Sol-Te,
or its representatives, may be able to supply you
with details of an Installer in your area. However,
this would be done on the basis that you make your
own investigations regarding any such Installer and,
if you proceed, you engage them directly, as an
independent contractor, without ant warranty or
recommendation, express or implied, by
Kon-Sol-Te.
No liability is assumed or accepted by
Kon-Sol-Te
for any direct, indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or exemplary damages which result or
could result from the installation of any of our
products.
Release & Indemnity:
As far as is permitted under any current or future
Laws or Statutes within Australia: -
You agree to waive any and all claims that you now
have or may have in the future against
Kon-Sol-Te
which relate to or are incidental to any transaction
with
Kon-Sol-Te.
You agree to indemnify and hold

or expense that may be incurred by
Kon-Sol-Te
which relate to or are incidental to the performance
of its duties as described in these Terms &
Conditions in regard to its dealings with you
including all costs of defending itself against a
claim by you or any other related person and/or as a
result of you taking any action or refraining from
taking any action or instituting or defending any
action or legal proceeding.
You further agree to indemnify and hold
Kon-Sol-Te
harmless from any claim made by any third party due
to or arising out of your use of this website, the

Warranty Information:
All products carry an Australia wide warranty
covering parts and workmanship which is offered
directly by
Kon-Sol-Te or
Covetek Australasia. All warranty claims must be
referred directly to
Kon-Sol-Te/Covetek
Australasia, (depending on product) and not to your
place of purchase or any other reseller.
Kon-Sol-Te
has the right to replace or repair the product at
its discretion. You must call our office on 07 3103
0676 before you return any product. We will assist
you as to the quickest solution. The warranty period
is detailed in the specific product information for
each product, and on our website. It is a “return
to base” warranty where the customer bears the
responsibility and cost of sending the faulty goods
back to the address provided. In some areas, you
may be able to pay for an on-site service call to
effect warranty repairs or exchange to save time and
inconvenience. You must provide proof of purchase
when making any warranty claim. |
